SUPPORT STRUCTURES

Robot pedestals

Robot pedestals provide a mounting foundation for robotic handling. Vertex SynTech considers robot payload, reach, acceleration and anchoring requirements together with the installation environment.

Mounting requirements come first

The robot’s payload, reach and acceleration inform the pedestal design along with anchoring requirements. The equipment model and interface dimensions are part of the engineering brief.

Construction for the working environment

The offering includes stainless-steel or painted mild-steel body construction. Sealed welds and cleanable geometry are relevant for washdown areas; material selection follows the cleaning and hygiene context.

Route cables and pneumatics

Cable and pneumatic routing can be incorporated into the pedestal or the surrounding structure. Routing is considered with equipment access and the robot’s operating arrangement.

Coordinate the surrounding system

The base is considered with the adjacent conveyors, tooling and handling process. An overhead gantry is a related option for applications requiring support above the product flow.
